Ustad Sarshar



Ustad Sarshar has been playing music since the age of six and plays over 6 different musical instruments including Tabla, Harmonium, Rubab, Sitar, Tambur, Dholak and Flute. Learning from his father back in Afghanistan and also studying with famous Indian and Afghani Ustads.
Ustad Sarshar has contributed a lot to Indian and Afghani music in the last 36 years in Australia having performed all over the World in Major Music festivals and Carnivals. He has played many times on ABC Radio, SBS, Channel 7, and also played on the Channel 9 Footy Show.

Yama Sarshar



Yama Sarshar was born in Sydney Australia he started playing the tabla from the age of two and at the age of 15 Yama went to Bombay India (Ustad Alla Rakha Institute Of Music) and became a student of world renowned Tabla player's the Late Ustad Alla Raka, Ustad Zakir Hussain and Ustad Fazal Qureshi of the Punjab Gharana school of Tabla.
Yama is a virtuoso tabla player and is the most prodigious musical talent to come from Western Sydney in recent years, with many international and national guests seeking his performance talents. He has performed for celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Keanu Reeves as well as the Indian and Australian Cricket Teams. Yama has also performed in many well known Australian Music festivals and is the Recipient of a 2006 Buzz Grant funded by the Australian Arts Council for the Arts exploring world fusion music through his debut CD: Jagulbandi. Yama nowadays is busy travelling around the globe performing with many well known artists from around the world.

Ali Sarshar



Ali Sarshar was born in Sydney Australia he is a music producer and sound engineer who has his own recording studio in Sydney, Australia. Ali has worked on films & documentaries such as Son of a Lion, Jirga and Unindian to name a few. Ali arranges music for many Indian, Afghani, Iranian, and Pakistani artists, he has recorded for many renowned international artists such as Karan Aujla, Deep Jandu, Amrit Maan, Dilpreet Dhillon, Tegi Pannu, J Hind and many more. Ali has been playing the keyboard and harmonium since the age of 10 under the guidance of his father and has performed with renowned indian artists such as Shri Anup Jalota, Kapil Sharma, Bir Singh and Ustad Fazal Qureshi.
